For this spec ad, which was made for Apostle Digital, I was given a large amount of creative control to conceive and design the piece how I wanted. The pitch was to demonstrate the “creative” process: Show the construction of a large, complex metal machinery as each shot travels from glowing holograms and data, with a glowing “sci-fi” colour palette, to a refined, classier digital space at the end, to show the finished “product”.

The basic 3d animations, of the metal components appearing and assembling themselves, were created in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane. From there, After Effects was used intensively to colour grade the piece and create the science-fiction “hologram” graphics.
